Therapy with me is centred around helping you really know what is real and true for you.  I will support you to become who you are, living how you want to live in the world rather than who you’ve learnt to be from the messages, beliefs and experiences from your past. 

These old messages and beliefs can turn up in the here and now to create the experience of anxiety, shame, depression, panic, low self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, explosive or implosive anger and relationship difficulties.

I offer a place to explore who you’ve told yourself you need to be to gain acceptance. When we have more awareness and understanding of these beliefs, we can then create a deeper, more satisfying life for ourselves.

With the acceptance of self, true compassion and self-esteem can grow.  From this process, you can develop a more harmonious relationship with yourself and, in turn, with others.

I believe it’s important for you to find the right therapist, so I recommend having an initial session to see if we are the right fit. I look forward to meeting you.

Qualifications and Training

I trained as a Humanistic Psychotherapist at Spectrum, at the time the largest centre and practice for Humanistic Psychology in Europe and a UKCP accredited organisation where I was awarded a Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling. I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

As part of my training at Spectrum I completed the following courses:

  • Cert Postgraduate Course in Psychotherapy

  • 13 years of Spectrum Post Graduate Continuation Course in Psychotherapy (2009-21)
