I am a Humanistic psychotherapist and counsellor. I believe that each person I work with is unique and individual. My approach is therefore flexible and sensitive to the personal biography of each client.

I was born in Rome and moved to live in London in my mid twenties. I am therefore bilingual and I offer counselling and psychotherapy in English and Italian.

Psychotherapy with Roberta

I am committed to respecting and supporting each individual on a journey of personal growth and personal development. I believe that we are all able to form new behaviour patterns and transform existing ones. I love how therapy can open conversations, bring clarity and offer an opportunity to a deeper, more authentic sense of self.

My work as a humanistic psychotherapist is experiential, psycho-educational as well as theoretical. I am very interested in supporting clients experience the gentle, yet profound, shifts of awareness and thrive in the slow processes of growth and development.

I bring kindness, integrity and many years of professional and personal experience to my work. I offer clients the opportunity to be curious about who they are, who they want to be and what meaning they want to bring to their lives. I believe that we can transform and choose to be who we want to be. I am passionate about enabling people to live a rich, fulfilling and joyous life.

I am also an integrative therapist in that I draw from a range of psychotherapeutic theories and techniques, Gestalt therapy and Formative Psychology being my preferred ones.

The warmth, wisdom and commitment I bring to my work is informed and enriched by my experience as a mother and as a partner in a long-term relationship. Having witnessed my children thrive in the context of a loving family, I am a passionate believer in the values of family, extended family and community.

As a spirited seeker of personal truth and inner beauty, I honour and support the artist in each of us.

I offer long-term and short-term therapy according to the individual’s needs.
