I am a warm, open-minded integrative therapist offering you a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your thoughts and feelings. I will support you to make sense of who you are and to understand your unique way of being in the world. This will enable you to find new, more effective ways to resolve the difficulties you’re facing.

I work with adults (18+) with a range of concerns, including experiences of depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, relationship difficulties and life crisis. I am about to complete my five-year training as an Integrative Psychotherapist (MSc & Clinical Diploma).

How I work

Many of us face emotional challenges at different points in our lives and each person has a unique story and reasons for seeking psychotherapy. I work in an integrative way, which simply means that I draw on a range of different theories and approaches to support and tailor my work to your particular needs. I draw primarily on existential-phenomenological, humanistic and contemporary psychodynamic models of understanding and practice.

Starting therapy can be daunting. When we meet, I will be completely present with you and listen carefully. I will help you to become more aware of habitual patterns that might not be serving you and will support you to find new ways of being in the world. This in turn can lead to you experiencing less loneliness, more freedom of choice, flexibility, spontaneity and aliveness in your life – or simply feeling more ‘at home’ with yourself, others and your place in the world.

I have been in long-term therapy myself and found it to be very helpful in navigating all sorts of different periods of transition in my life, including a significant career shift some years ago when what I was doing at the time no longer felt meaningful. Experiencing the benefits of therapy myself is what ultimately led me to train as a therapist, as I want to offer other people the same opportunity that I had.

During an initial session we will explore together what you might need and how we should proceed. If we then start working together, I will normally see you for weekly 50-minute sessions over a fixed period (over six or twelve weeks, for example) or for a longer, more open-ended time if we agree that together.

Psychotherapy Qualifications and Experience

I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling at Regent’s School of Psychotherapy and Psychology, London in 2017. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns in different counselling services in Ealing, Hammersmith, and Clapham since 2018.
