I am approachable, warm, and down-to-earth. Taking the initial step of contacting a therapist can be scary. As an experienced psychotherapist, I can offer you a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space. I will be alongside you, your ally, as we talk about your innermost fears and worries. I won’t give you advice but I will ask you the kinds of questions that will help you untangle the complex issues that are holding you back or causing you pain. Working together we can find ways to understand and manage your problems leading to your improved emotional and mental wellbeing.

Psychotherapy with Sally

Research shows that it is the relationship between therapist and client that largely determines the successful outcome of therapy, rather than the type of therapy. So it is really worth taking your time to find a therapist that you click with.  I imagine you are viewing this page because you have reached a point when you need help.

Are you grieving the loss of someone close?
Are you stuck in a relationship that is causing you pain?
Are you struggling to be a parent?
Are you feeling lonely? Depressed? Anxious? Disconnected from others?
Are you suffering from low self-confidence?
Are you facing redundancy?
Or maybe you are simply feeling lost in your life and realise you might benefit from a fresh perspective.

Whatever your issues, I’m here to help.

Before training as a psychotherapist my background was in book publishing where I had a management role for over ten years. As the mother of grown-up children, I understand only too well the challenges of family life and last, but not least, I have also always had whippets in my life. I believe dogs enhance mood, keep us amused and increase our general sense of wellbeing.
