Psychotherapy with Ben

How I work

I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgmental environment where you will be able to express your troubling thoughts, worst fears and overwhelming anxieties. Although I am not here to “fix you” I will be able to provide you with a highly personalised toolkit to help you manage the challenges you currently face.

I will be drawing on a wide spectrum of methods and techniques that can help you change and grow.

Your first meeting will be an Introductory Assessment Consultation. This will be for 50 minutes and is an opportunity for you to express your hopes and expectations, get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you and ask any questions you may have about therapy.

I specialise in helping people in the LGBTQ+ community, in particular gay men. You may be struggling to come to terms with your sexuality, in the process of “coming out”, or have issues around HIV, Chemsex, guilt and shame.

In addition to my private practice in London, I have experience of working with the mental health charity Mind, which supports people in the local community with complex mental health needs.
