Hi, I’m Amma a certified advanced couples and family systemic practitioner/coach and associate systemic and family psychotherapist qualifying (4th) year with The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, completing my final stages within their Family Mental Health department.  I’ve previously trained with The Institute of Family Therapy.

Whether you’re rebuilding connections, addressing difficult family dynamics, or exploring the intricacies of polyamory, my approach is tailored to your unique needs. I offer a creative, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered in your exploration or to make positive changes.

I am a qualified and experienced advanced systemic practitioner and therapist, specialising in evidence-based approaches to support individuals, families, and diverse relationships. I have worked across local authorities the NHS and the voluntary sectors, and I’m committed in helping people address the complexities of relationships, whether within the family unit or outside of it.

I offer support for a wide range of issues, including:

  • Estranged Parents & Families: Working through the challenges of estrangement, rebuilding connections, and understanding family dynamics.
  • Racialised Trauma: Addressing the emotional and psychological impact of racialised experiences and supporting healing and growth. I also work with individuals who may have contributed to racialised trauma, helping them understand and change patterns.
  • Interracial & Interfaith Families and Couples: Providing support for overcoming cultural differences and challenges within interracial and interfaith relationships, with sensitivity to the unique dynamics these relationships face.
  • Individual Therapy: Helping individuals address personal struggles, emotional challenges, and trauma, promoting clarity and healing.
  • Couples Throuples & Polyamorous Relationships: Assisting people with relationship dynamics, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Family Dynamics: Supporting families, including new parents, blended families, and those experiencing separation, to manage transitions and strengthen connections.
  • Trauma and Abuse: Addressing both current and historical trauma, including the impact of domestic abuse and family breakdowns.
  • Child and Adolescent Support: Offering guidance for children and young people impacted by family changes, including separation, trauma, or difficult transitions.
  • Therapeutic Exploration: Some individuals may not have a clear presenting issue but seek a space to explore life experiences and gain insight into their feelings and behaviours.

I am a systemic and family therapist however I use a range of therapeutic approaches to support your journey, always ensuring that the therapy provided meets your specific needs and goals. My role is to guide and support you through whatever challenges you are facing, and I’m here to help you address the concerns that brought you to therapy.

I bring cultural competency to my work, creating a space that is sensitive to the diverse backgrounds and experiences that individuals and families bring. Commitment-Based Pricing Structure

  • Individual Therapy: £80 per 60-minute session
    • Block of Six Sessions: £450 (£75 per session)
    • Block of Twelve Sessions: £840 (£70 per session)
  • Couples Therapy: £95 per session
    • Block of Six Sessions: £540 (£90 per session)
    • Block of Twelve Sessions: £1020 (£85 per session)
  • Family Therapy: £110 per session
    • Block of Six Sessions: £630 (£105 per session)
    • Block of Twelve Sessions: £1200 (£100 per session)
  • Polyamorous / Throuples Therapy: £110 per session
    • Block of Six Sessions: £630 (£105 per session)
    • Block of Twelve Sessions: £1200 (£100 per session)
    • For larger polyamorous groups, pricing will be adjusted based on the size and structure of the familial unit.

This commitment-based pricing ensures you receive consistent support over the course of your therapy journey, while offering special rates for those who are ready to fully engage in their personal growth. By committing to a series of sessions, you are investing in long-term progress, stability, and transformation.

Group Work 

If you’re a group of friends or an organisation looking for a systemic intervention, I offer tailored group work designed to address a range of topics including relationship dynamics, communication, and conflict resolution. 

I currently offer the following groups due to client demand: 

Parental Estrangement Group: A six-month, participant-led group for parents navigating estrangement from adult children. These sessions offer a collaborative environment where participants bring their own experiences and work together, with expert facilitation. 

Couples 12-Week Therapy Group: A structured group for couples looking to improve their relationships through guided support and shared experiences with others facing similar challenges. Concessions
I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces for those who may need support but are facing financial challenges. If you’re interested, the free 30-minute consultation can help assess what might be most relevant to your circumstances and whether a concessionary space or an alternative care plan is a better fit for you. This consultation ensures that you can receive the support you need while finding the most appropriate solution for your situation.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation, either online or by telephone. If you choose to work with me, we’ll arrange a plan and schedule that aligns with your goals. I also include evaluation points to ensure we’re meeting your needs, whether for an open-ended or structured therapeutic intervention.

Availability
I work at Homa on Tuesdays from 5pm to 10pm, with Sunday appointments available from 11am to 6pm. In-home sessions can be arranged if appropriate, with an additional fee depending on location.
