Adenrele Abiade
Humanistic Psychotherapist
Individual Member of BACP – membership number 01016615
My approach to therapy is rooted in soul, compassion and authentic connection.
I offer a space to slow down and explore what it means to be you. Together, we can gently untangle your thoughts and emotions, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have become lost or unheard.
I work with those seeking a deeper connection to themselves and a greater sense of authenticity, wholeness and self-understanding. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity and care as you explore your own path and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
My practice is driven by communication and guided conversations that help you untangle and understand yourself, emotions and your current situation. I also weave in nervous system mindfulness and creative expression where appropriate.

How I Work
Sometimes life asks us to carry more than we were ever meant to carry alone. The aim is for Therapy with myself to offer a space where some of that weight can be gently put down.
I am a qualified humanistic psychotherapist, and my approach is rooted in genuine connection, empathy and guided conversation.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey that allows us to explore our thoughts, emotions and experiences with curiosity, compassion and without judgement. Soulful is a word that I feel encapsulates the essence in which I am attempt to capture through our work together.
Each person carries an innate capacity for growth, healing and self-understanding, and that through meaningful therapeutic relationships we can reconnect with ourselves and move towards a more authentic way of being.
My practice is guided by a commitment to social justice and recognising the wider experiences, relationships and communities that shape who we are. I honour each person’s unique story and believe therapy should be a space where all parts of you are welcomed.
Together, we can explore your journey, reconnect with your inner wisdom and create space for growth, self-acceptance and the life you want to live.
