Many of the people I work with describe a sense of being caught in repetition, overwhelm and endlessly striving to keep up; yet losing touch with meaning, purpose and who they really are.

Life can sometimes feel like an endless cycle of busyness; work, routines, responsibilities, yet still leave you feeling tired, stuck or wondering, “Is this it?”

I offer a space where you can pause, breathe and explore what is really going on. Together we can look beyond the surface and into the heart of what feels missing. Our work would be explorative with space for every aspect of who you are, always grounded in empathy and curiosity.

Who I am and How I work

My work as a therapist is shaped by my own experience – many years spent in high pressure corporate and startup work environments, working with leaders, developing teams whilst also living the challenge and joy of family and parenting two now-adult children. I am familiar with these moments in life when we sense something isn’t quite right and that so often indicate that we are living divided, between the person we really are and the person we have learned to be. In my experience, paying attention to these signals and giving ourselves a chance – to pause, breath and work out what is really going on can be so important.

My work blends client-directed practice with other models and approaches such as Gestalt, mindfulness and somatic awareness. I also weave in insights from other diverse disciplines, all to best serve you in the moment.

I understand what it’s like to feel both driven and yet disconnected. I will walk alongside you, not to push or prescribe, without judgement to help you discover patterns, connections and possibilities that you may not yet have seen – to uncover and ignite your own direction and sense of aliveness. Therapy with me is about moving from ‘Just getting through’ to living with meaning and purpose.

Areas of particular focus

People often come to me feeling a gap between how they show up and how things actually feel inside. They may be tired of performing, masking or living up to expectations or finding themselves in a period of transition – stepping up, stepping back or quietly questioning what comes next. This could be within a work or relationship context too; with partners, family or colleagues, where familiar patterns start to feel strained or harder to sustain. These experiences aren’t a sign of failure. Issues that often arise include :-

• Feeling outwardly capable or successful but internally unsettled or disconnected.

• Carrying ongoing responsibility at work or at home and feeling the strain of it.

• Burnout, exhaustion or the sense of always having to push through.

• Imposter syndrome, self-doubt or quietly questioning your own competence.

• Transitions in work or life, including stepping into leadership, stepping back or rethinking direction.

• Success that hasn’t brought the satisfaction, meaning or peace you expected.

• Strain or distance in close relationships, with partners, family members or colleagues.

• Repeating relational patterns that no longer feel workable or sustainable.

• Late diagnosis of ADHD or autism and the impact this can have on identity, work or relationships.

• Parenting a neurodivergent child and navigating the emotional and relational demands this can bring.

• Issues arising from having attended Boarding School.

• Wanting to feel more at ease in yourself, rather than constantly managing, performing or holding things together.
